The implementation of a smart building system is not a ‘one-size-fits-all’ solution. CILS will work with you to understand your drivers and objectives – however complex they may be.
We start with a consultative session to understand your needs and how you can best benefit from our services. We’d then carry out desktop analysis and site surveys.
Our aim is to create solution designs, with recommendations for funding options, that create long-term positive outcomes for your business or organisation.
The following services are usually included in the turnkey – solution, development and implementation package, but we can also offer consultancy and design, as standalone services.
CILS can smooth your path to increased efficiency and a low-carbon future. This could be a full, detailed energy or carbon audit, or heat decarbonisation plan.
Either of the above would include recommendations from our energy engineers, for your next steps.
CILS can also produce smart building plans, using CAD, which includes both infrastructure and lighting design. Maintained and emergency lighting systems can be reconfigured/redesigned, to achieve ideal lux levels and comply with emergency lighting regulations.
In most cases, a detailed lighting redesign will highlight significant energy savings and improve light distribution and comfort. It will absolutely define how many and what type of light fittings are optimal for each area.
IoT can integrate different systems to create a ‘smart building’. The design will, in most cases, incorporate the sensor and gateway layout, to create an intelligent ceiling for the whole building.
